Currently, our fairs are exclusively aimed at children in Primary School (ages 4-11). All of the resources that we send you are differentiated for EYFS, KS1, LKS2 and UKS2 to enable each child to be able to access the learning and be inspired!

A standard, morning Careers Fair consists of three, fourty-five minute sessions. Each session can accommodate up to two classes of up to 30 pupils. Class teachers, TAs and 1:1s are also required to attend the Fair with their classes to facilitate learning and conversations with the volunteers. So that’s 6 classes in total along with all of their relevant adults.
-
In our experience, a good morning fair has anywhere between 10-15 volunteers. We know some may drop out last minute due to unforeseen circumstances so we always aim to recruit 15 volunteers minimum.

A full package, including everything listed on the “What’s Included” page, for up to 6 classes of up to 30 pupils currently costs £795 (thats £132.50 per class and £4.42 per pupil).
Don’t have the school budget? You have two options;
1) Ask parents to pay for their own children. at £4.42 per pupil, we tend to find parents are more than happy to pay this for their child to attend the Careers Fair (along with all of the included teaching prior).
2) Inspire Learning can contact the Secondary Schools where the majority of your pupils go for Y7 and ask them if they will fund the Careers Fair. Their school logo will be included on all of the Fair flyers and communication emails sent out to parents, very clearly stating: THIS FAIR HAS BEEN FUNDED BY….
We have found that this partnership is greatly welcomed and valued by secondary schools as they get a fantastic promotion opportunity as well as the chance to support the younger students in their local areas.

Inspire Learning will follow the School we are working with’s procedures in regards to external visitors to the school. On top of this, all volunteers personal contact details are taken and safely stored prior to their visit. On the day, their personal IDs will be photographed on arrival after signing into the school. Volunteers will never be left unattended in the school. Our CEO who is currently doing all of the in-person training and on-site work holds a full, clear DBS avaliable on request. If you have more questions in regards to safeguarding, please get in touch directly.

Lots of schools have us in every year to run their Careers Fair. Some schools just can’t get enough of us and have us in every term! Whatever works for you, we would love to see you again.
After your second fair with us, you will receive a digital bronze award, which you can proudly display on your School’s website. After your fourth fair, you will receive your silver and after your sixth fair, you will receive your gold digital award AND a physical award trophy, which you can display in your School’s achievements cabinet/School office.

All of our sessions are catered for all of the children in your School. If you have students with SEND or any additional requirements, please let us know and we will do everything possible to accommodate.
We find that in the pre-fair lessons, SEND children benefit greatly from learning about the Key Skills in a very explicit way. Sometimes we assume that children ‘just know’ what good listening or problem solving looks like. These sessions dive deeply into the exact steps we need to take to master each skill- something that we often forget or don’t have time to teach in day-to-day education.
